Biography
An assistant professor in the School of Accountancy, Melvin Lamboy-Ruiz, CPA, comes to the Parker College of Business from Iowa State University, where he taught government and nonprofit institutions accounting and intermediate accounting at the undergraduate level. Lamboy-Ruiz also supervised undergraduate honors research projects. While at Iowa State, he substantially redesigned the intermediate accounting course into a flipped, term-based learning course that emphasized a broader focus on complex accounting transactions and teamwork decisions.
