Biography

Joseph Matthew Sarji earned his Ph.D. at Virginia Commonwealth University. His primary research interest is in managerial accounting and the incentivization of creativity in the workplace. In addition, Matt is a licensed CPA in the state of Virginia with three years of professional experience. His teaching interests include both managerial accounting and financial accounting topics as well as data analytics. As a first-generation college student, Matt believes nothing is more important than helping students grow as individuals and realize the opportunities that a career in accounting can provide.
