Biography

Alyssa Hagerty earned her Ph.D. at Penn State University. Her research interests focus on regulators and information intermediaries’ monitoring and governance roles. Prior to her Ph.D. program, Alyssa worked as an editor at Gleim Publications and developed review materials for all sections of the CPA, CMA, CIA, and EA exams. This experience provided her with the background to teach broadly, but her primary teaching interest is in the area of taxation. Alyssa also has three years of experience as a tax associate for the Big-4 CPA firm PWC.
