About Us

All students are required to attend a SOAR session prior to enrolling in classes*. SOAR sessions are led by current Georgia Southern students who will be a great resource for you to ask questions of and show you what it means to be a Georgia Southern student! You will also be able to meet with an academic advisor, who will advise you on which classes have been selected for your first semester.

SOAR Reservation & Confirmation

SOAR Reservation Process:

To make a reservation please click the “Register” button above and log-in to your Admissions Status Check Page to access our SOAR registration system.

• Enter your last name, date of birth, and the last four digits of your Eagle ID or Social Security number. Click the “Check Status” button.
• In the Orientation tab, click on the “SOAR Online Reservation Form” link.
• Follow the instructions by selecting a SOAR session and completing your reservation with a credit card payment.

Accessing your SOAR Confirmation Letter:

• After reserving your SOAR session, return to the Admissions Status Check page.
• Enter your last name, date of birth, and the last four digits of your Eagle ID or Social Security number. Click the “Check Status” button.
• In the Orientation Information tab, click on the “Review/Edit My Reservation” link.  View the receipt.
