Biography
Rachel Smith joins the Parker College of Business from Louisiana State University, where she served as the director of the industrial/organizational psychology Ph.D. program. Her primary teaching interests are in human resource management and organizational behavior. Her research examines (1) the experiences of individuals from diverse backgrounds in the context of the work environment and the importance of diversity for organizations, and (2) both employee well-being (e.g., mindfulness, work engagement) and employee ill-being (e.g., work-family conflict, workaholism).
