The BBA Degree with majors in Management, Operations Management, Statistics and Quantitative Analysis, and Hospitality Management is designed to provide both entry-level competence to make sound independent judgments and to build a foundation for career development. The type of student served by these programs can pursue a career in virtually any area of business, government, or not-for-profit organizations. Career paths include business management, human resources management, entrepreneurship and small business management, marketing, sales and sales management, retail management, fashion merchandising, logistics management, transportation, and hotel, restaurant and leisure services management. In addition, many are preparing for further study in graduate programs in business or other disciplines.
The Department of Management seeks the following outcomes from our undergraduate programs:
- To increase student understanding of their field of study, ethical issues related to business decisions and global business perspectives.
- To increase student problem-solving abilities, communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- To create the ability to successfully cope with and adapt to the uncertainties of everyday life and the need for life-long learning.
