Logistics Association
The Logistics Association is aimed at students interested in logistics and intermodal transportation. It works to foster an appreciation of logistics as a motivating force in industry and commerce, through a focus on career development and networking with industry professionals. The Logistics Associations invites logistics and supply chain professionals from different industries to speak at monthly meetings, provides opportunities for students to attend industry conferences, and tour facilities such as Wal-Mart, The Home Depot, Target, and IKEA. Selected students in leadership roles are also chosen to represent the Georgia Southern Logistics program at national conferences and industry networking events.
