Biography

While a student at Korea’s Donnguk University, Chris Bang co-founded the e-book platform firm WordCPL. He then received a Ph.D. from the University at Buffalo following ten years of working in the IT sector in a variety of roles, including programmer, database administrator, system designer, and project manager. On the basis of his experience, Bang then created a tool to get Big Data from Twitter. His main areas of study interest include cryptocurrency price models and ML/AI-based big data analytics. His work has been published in International Journal of Information Management and Information Systems Frontiers, Asian Journal of Communication, and International Journal of Information Communication Technology and Digital Convergence. At graduation, Bangreceived the Beta Gamma Sigma Award, and his former university, Auburn University at Montgomery, honored him with the Excellence in Research Award. Additionally, CADSCOM presented him with the Outstanding Contribution in Reviewing Award.
