OTR Capital offering Diversity in Business Scholarship – Deadline May 26!
OTR Diversity in Business Scholarship!! This scholarship program was created to expand diversity initiatives beyond OTR Capital and to support eligible undergraduate college students.
OTR Capital is awarding $2,800 to recipients for the upcoming school year. Scholarship recipients are selected based on academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, a statement of goals and aspirations, financial need, and an online recommendation. Up to 5 scholarship recipients will be awarded per year.
In order to be eligible, applicants must self-identify as a member of at least one of the following underrepresented groups: American Indian or Alaska Native Asian, Black or African American, Hispanic or Latino, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, Female (any race or ethnicity), LGBTQIA+, disabled. The student must also be a current college undergraduate residing in Arizona, Georgia, or Tennessee.
By providing scholarship assistance, OTR Capital can enable greater success in college, providing backing for deserving students who want to graduate with their degree and give back to society. This also serves as a potential pipeline of diverse talent and future leaders for OTR Capital and Marquee Insurance Group. The program is administered by Scholarship America. Eligibility for individual programs was set by OTR Capital with applications reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
